LIFE AFTER DEATH: What happens AFTER WE DIE! (summary of my research)

Have you ever wondered what happens to us after the physical body dies? Obviously, I cannot answer from my own personal experience because I’m still here, but I’ve done a lot of research about this subject in the past and I would like to share some of the things I found with you today!

Every religion on this planet talks about the eternity of the soul, but they hardly ever agree about what will happen to us after we die. When I started my research, I looked for materials from mediums who could channel people who have died, and who could tell us what really happened.

Brazilian Spiritism

In Brazil, there is a kind of religion called spiritism, which is based on the work of Allan Kardec (who was actually French) and the Brazilian medium Chico Xavier, who during his lifetime psychographed over 400 books from the other side! His most famous book became a movie called “Astral City”, if you can find it, I recommend you watch it.

I read some of his books and they talk about three main places we go after we die, none of them are permanent because they talk about reincarnation. The first place is Earth itself, some souls are not mature enough or are not ready to move on, so they stick around, either because of attachments towards people or things, or for any other reasons that hold them here.

The second place is called umbral, which is a kind of purgatory where the souls that are suffering go. There are negative entities there and souls keep reliving their pain over and over again, until they can’t take it anymore and pray for help, which is when lightworkers go and rescue them!

The third place is called colony, which is a replica from Earth where you even buy houses with working hours! You study soul matters while you are there and work helping others, and when you’re ready, you prepare to be born again on Earth!

In general, spiritism describes that the souls cannot visit or pass to the higher levels, but souls from the higher levels can descend and visit the lower ones. This indicates that there are other places to go, but the books don’t describe them.

I must confess that I didn’t like the idea of leaving Earth to go to a place that is a copy from here! I wanted to know more and kept studying, and that’s when a friend recommended “The Seth Material”, channeled by Jane Roberts.

The Seth Material by Jane Roberts

His material is quite complex because he says that time does not exist and it’s not linear. He describes the soul as being a multidimensional consciousness that coexists simultaneously from the lower dimensions, where we are now, to the higher levels, which would be the total consciousness of everything that exists! What we understand as past lives or future lives, he describes as parallel lives, and each one of them are counterparts of the same oversoul.

Another thing that Seth also talks about is that your vibrations and your beliefs form your reality, which is aligned with the concept of the law of attraction and manifestation! He says that the difference between the physical and non-physical realities is that here you have a delay because of density, and on the other side it is more instantaneous.

In short, what he is saying that will happen to us after we die, will depend a lot on how much we managed to expand our consciousness and the things we believe!

After I read The Seth Material, I was able to understand better the colonies I mentioned earlier. It seems to me that a group of souls felt the need to recreate a system that was familiar to them, which is probably why the colonies are a copy from here!

Michael Newton – Life Between Lives Hypnotherapy

The next material I found was from Michael Newton, he developed a hypnosis technique called “Life Between Lives”, and using parts of the sessions with his clients, he wrote two books: “Journey of Souls” and “Destiny of Souls”.

In his books, he talks about everything that happens from the moment you die until you enter a new body! Some of the things he describes are the soul arrival on the other side, the life review with the council of Elders, interactions with other souls, how to plan a new life, how to make choices for it, how to choose a new body, and even how and when to enter that body!

While Michael Newton’s work is amazing and can give you a lot of insights, you have to consider that his mind was very logical, linear and structured, and for sure it affected his work! Personally, I think the universe is way more complex and it is not as linear as we are used to think.

The Urantia Book

Michael Newton says something that makes me think about another book, he says that the personality we know and we are being right now, actually is a combination between the personality of the physical body and the soul, and after we die, we change!

The Urantia book describes something similar, it says that the soul searches for host bodies until it achieves a complete fusion with one of them, that’s the only way the personality as we know will survive after physical death, and when that happens, the soul will not search for host bodies anymore and will continue the journey on other levels of existence!

Urantia also says that there are 7 multi-universes revolving around an island, and that this island is heaven! The book is very interesting and I recommend that you have a look at it. You can read it online in many languages, the website is http://www.urantia.org.

Dolores Cannon

The last material I’m going to mention today is from Dolores Cannon, she developed a technique called “Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique” which is basically a past life regression. She used to say in her interviews that 90% of her clients had boring past lives as human beings, and that 10% had extraordinary lives, and she wrote only about them!

She had many clients describing lives as not being human, not just on other planets and even other galaxies, but also on other levels of existence! In her material, she is always talking to her client’s “higher self”, and this can give you a good idea of how communication is when you expand to these levels of consciousness!

Her books don’t talk much about what happens after you die, but they can open your mind a lot to the idea that there are many other possibilities for your soul to explore in the universe.

Personal Conclusion

After studying a lot this subject, my final conclusion about what happens after we die will depend a lot on what we believe, our vibration, our emotions, the level of maturity of our consciousness and our soul, and even the way we die!

I remember reading in one of these materials about skeptics, those who believe that there is nothing after death, and it seems that they fall into a deep sleep, according to what they believe, and only wake up after they have realized somehow that they still exist!

After this transition and adjustment phase that happens initially, and when you are ready to move on, you will probably do a life review and start preparing for a new experience!

You have the rest of eternity and the rest of the universe to explore, so in my personal opinion, the idea of staying in the same place forever doesn’t make sense at all!
