Who seeks SPIRITUALITY? Why SPIRITUAL AWAKENING is more ACCESSIBLE!

In a previous post, I spoke about the difference between being religious and being spiritual, and maybe you’re wondering if spirituality is for everyone, who seeks for it, or what makes a person start a spiritual journey…

I’m going to answer these questions and I’m also going to explain why, nowadays, spiritual awakening is more accessible than ever on this planet, and why the process is so much easier and faster than it used to be!

Who is Spirituality for?

Answering the first question, is spirituality for everyone? Yes and no! I know, it’s not an appropriate answer, so let me elaborate!

Yes, it is available to anyone who seeks and wants this kind of knowledge! No, not everyone is interested, can make sense out of it, or understand! Think of spirituality as if it were music, it’s available for everyone to hear, but not everyone wants to, or not everyone understands the lyrics!

When I worked in aviation and used to talk to different colleagues every day, I realized that people who were having fun and enjoying life as human beings, were less inclined towards spirituality! It’s okay for them, they fit into society and accept the way things are here on Earth, life as it is, so they don’t feel the need for existential explanations!

The same happens to religious people, they are happy with the faith they have because it works for them, so why would they look for another belief? And by the way, these are not rules, they are just general observations I’ve made in the past! Of course, I’ve met happy and religious people who were highly spiritual as well!

When is Spirituality for You?

How will you know if spirituality is for you then? I’m sure you’ll know because there is a very strong need to understand the world beyond what meets the eyes! It’s like an inner calling to make sense of a life that apparently doesn’t make sense at all!

Of course, not all souls choose to go through a spiritual journey during reincarnation, but if you have chosen, you may experience some symptoms such as:

• Feeling that you are different, that you don’t belong here
• Missing a place that you don’t know where it is
• Feel the need to have answers to the great existential questions: Where did I come from before I was born? Where will I go after I die? Why am I here? What is life? What am I supposed to be doing with it? Why do I exist? Who is God? Who am I?

And until you discover the answers to these questions, you won’t be able to make any sense of your own life!

What Causes the Spiritual Quest?

Generally, suffering is the most common cause of spiritual awakening, which does not necessarily imply that everyone who suffers will seek this kind of knowledge!

Difficulties dealing with injustices, whether in your own life or in the lives of those around you, can put you on a spiritual path as well because it is somewhat hard to accept, understand and make peace with the things we see happening in this world, having only a human perspective, without the spiritual understanding!

Another thing that can lead people to study spirituality is when they lose someone they love to death! Basically, they feel the need to know if the person will continue to exist, and if they will ever meet again in the future!

There are people who had spiritual inclinations ever since they were children, and if their family didn’t suppress it, they grew up naturally looking for this kind of knowledge, so they probably don’t need any extra push from life in this direction.

Why Spiritual Awakening is More Accessible and Faster?

Whatever it is that has set you on this kind of journey, nowadays it is much quicker and easier to go through the process of waking up on your soul levels because of everything that is happening on the planet! We are going through an immense planetary shift, the planet itself and everything and everyone on top of it! I won’t go into details now because it’s a long and complex subject, better leave for a future post!

All I need to mention is that there is a massive awakening going on, it started with the “baby boomers” generation after World War II, and it’s been getting faster and faster ever since! Many people have awakened in the last 50 years, and this has shifted energies, which makes it easier for other people to awaken as well! And all this information is available to you in the collective consciousness, that’s why it’s much easier to access it!

In fact, you don’t even need to connect to the collective consciousness for that to happen because it impacts you anyway! You just need to connect to the internet, there are a lot of people talking about it and this kind of information is much more available now than it was 20 years ago!

I started my awakening in 2007 and met people who started the process 10 years later, and it was so much easier and faster for them! Many things have changed even in the last ten years, if you have a spiritual calling, go ahead, the best time is now!
